Dinoland is a cute little pinball game that suffers from a lack of speed. After
playing Genesis pinball games such as Dragon's Fury and Dragon's Revenge, I know the Genesis
is capable of something faster, so I'm not sure just what the problem was with this one. I also think Dinoland suffers from a lack of pinball elements such as ramps, bumpers, flashing lights, sinkholes, etc, because the layout does seem pretty bare. But if you can overlook the slow action and the
somewhat spartan board, there is a decent video pinball game here. There are also bonus screens
where you fight prehistoric bosses (hitting them with your pinball as they move across the screen), which adds a little variety to the game.
