I'm not a fan of basketball but this game is pretty fun. Good graphics and sound. What's even better is that this cart usually only sells for a buck or two (like most Genesis sports titles). It's not a realistic basketball game, but I guess that's what's fun about it. You play two on two, and there are ever-so-nutty effects like the basketball catching on fire if you've scored three times in a row. There is also a fair amount of digitized speech in the game (the commentator calling some of the action) and it sounds pretty clean. You can choose to play one of any of the NBA teams and you can even select which of the team players you want to control. This is the best basketball game I know of on the Genesis, and probably the only one I'd bother to play.
