Well, if you've never played the arcade version, think of Mortal Kombat with dinosaurs and giant apes instead of martial artists, and that's pretty much what Primal Rage is. However, some arcade conversions should have never been attempted on the Genesis, and this is one of them. Apart from the title screen, this game is very ugly, and as a fan of the coin-op I can say that the Genesis version is absolutely depressing to play.

If you barfed on your TV screen after 5 packs of Top Ramen, this is pretty much what it would look like.
