Sagaia, the sequel to the great arcade shooter Darius, is a solid shump that lovers of the genre are sure to enjoy. Though the graphics are average compared to flashier shooters like Lightening Force and some of the music a tad geeky, the gameplay is where Sagaia earns its grade.

Fight your way through seven deadly levels in a quest to destroy an alien horde, your toughest challenge coming from big fishy bosses that look like they've been pulled out of the depths of a prehistoric ocean. Great stuff. If you're not a shoot 'em up pro, however, you'll likely find this game too hard.
