Hmm, a young, hip Pitfall Harry. Or is this supposed to be his nephew or something? Anyway, the graphics are very nice--a big improvement over the Atari 2600, to say the least--and as a platformer Pitfall! The Mayan Adventure is a decent game. Jump from branches, collect treasures, whip snakes and monkeys. Unfortunely, Pitfall suffers from mediocre level design mid-game, resulting in dull, lackluster gameplay.
